Hello + Welcome!

**My name is April, and just like you, I wear many hats.**

I’m a Mom to two spunky and sweet little girls (and a mischievous pup) as well as wife to a hunky husband named Will (he made me type that). I’m also the proud business owner and lead photographer at April Eve Images.

*I remember waking up early one day, opening a kids’ cookbook and creating the most magnificent eggs in a basket for Mom + Dad to eat in bed. They didn’t even get food poisoning.*
*I remember locking Babcia (my grandmother) in the garage, and thinking it was a silly little joke. The two days she didn’t talk to me were the longest in my life.*
*Nightly family Rummy games on the living room floor, playing for pennies and bragging rights.*
*Sunday mornings and a dozen doughnuts always on the counter…*

Yes, I went to college and graduated with a degree in Photography. And yes - I continue to learn and push myself to create beautiful, real and technically clean images, every time I’m behind the lens. The truth is, I’m over the moon happy to own my own business (it’s really pretty awesome, actually!). But none of these things speak to who I am as a photographer more than the importance of family, legacy, and love. These are the values I’ve built my business and life around.

When I don’t have a camera in my hands you will find me adventuring with Mr. April Eve Images and our girls (Willow and Edie) or in the kitchen (flour on my face) trying to perfect next year’s Christmas Cookie recipe. You may even find me in my Covid-19 Victory garden tending to tomatoes and dreaming of a sauce that may one day rival my Mom’s or tucked up on the couch, watching the Crown with a glass of white wine and Millie the dog snuggled close, keeping my feet and soul warm
